TUITION ASSISTANCE
Scholarship awards may be applied toward tuition and fees, textbooks, required course materials, etc.
When awarded, students receiving scholarships will be notified and their award money will be distributed directly to each receiving student. This means recipients of the Jon Thomas Russell Scholarship for Students with Disabilities have the opportunity to choose whether to apply their award money to tuition and fees, textbooks, or other required course materials.
ASSISTIVE DEVICES
In addition to tuition assistance, scholarship recipients can also use their award money to purchase the assistive devices necessary to earn their education.
Scholarship recipients may also use their award money to obtain any assistive devices necessary. This includes, but is not limited to:
Text to Speech Devices/Software
Laptops
Proofreading Software
Communication Aids
Adjustable Seating/Storage
